Westmark GmbH, founded in 1956 by Hubert Deimel as ‘Hubert Deimel Haushaltswarenfabrik’, has established itself as a renowned manufacturer of household goods and kitchen utensils. With a diverse range of over 2,500 products, the company has been making everyday life easier for its customers for decades. The company's headquarters are located in Lennestadt-Elspe in the Sauerland region, where the majority of production, the warehouse and the administration are based. Another production unit is located in Wittelsberg near Marburg. With around 130 employees, Westmark attaches great importance to the quality and functionality of its products. Production in Germany has always been a central component of the company's philosophy. Westmark has been manufacturing kitchen utensils since 1956 and continuously invests in modern production technologies to ensure the highest quality standards. Successful ERP implementation with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management at Westmark
As part of a joint project between NexaTech Solutions, STZ IT Business Consulting and Dynamity Group, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management was successfully implemented in close collaboration with the Westmark team. Based on the existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solution, the business processes were comprehensively analysed, optimised and largely transferred to the Dynamics 365 standard.
Important topics such as data migration, advanced warehouse management and data exchange with customers and suppliers were successfully implemented within a very short space of time. In addition, central company areas such as production, sales, procurement and financial accounting were examined in detail and integrated into the standard ERP system in the best possible way. With the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, Westmark is using a future-proof, efficient and scalable ERP solution.
